Esses predadores do tamanho de um humano habitam as partes altas das árvores nas antigas reservas florestais do Darwin IV.

Extremamente ativos, usam suas pernas frontais com ponta de punhal para se balançarem entre os galhos, mas também podem voar usando membranas que lhes permitem se manter no ar aos estenderem seus membros para trás.

Sua dieta consiste principalmente de sugadores de troncos. Eles possuem uma “pseudomandíbula” complexa com um tubo muito musculoso e uma mandíbula barbada na ponta. O tubo se estende em busca de presas da mesma forma que uma cobra terrestre faz.
