A morte de Marilyn Monroe

O ex-marido de Marilyn, Joe Dimaggio, enviou 6 rosas vermelhas para a sua sepultura 3 vezes por semana, durante 20 anos após a sua morte.

Marilyn Monroe foi encontrada morta no seu quarto em 4 de agosto de 1962, com apenas 36 anos. Ao lado dela, havia um frasco de remédio para dormir, levando a conclusão de que ela havia sofrido uma overdose – intencional ou acidentalmente.

Existem várias teorias sobre a morte de Marilyn. Uma delas é a de que ela tirou a sua própria vida depois de ouvir que o Presidente John F. Kennedy queria terminar o romance com a atriz.

Outras teorias mais sinistras sugerem que a morte de Marilyn não tenha sido um suicídio. Alguns alegam que suas conexões com a família Kennedy e com o chefe da Máfia, Sam Giancana, fez dela uma ameaça à segurança nacional, o que levou ao seu extermínio.
