Poltergeists famosos

Os Poltergeists representam as manifestações mais incríveis e assustadoras de atividade paranormal porque normalmente eles deixam evidência física de suas ações.

O Fantasma Baterista de Tedworth foi um poltergeist famoso que assombrou uma família inglesa por volta de 1600. O poltergeist fazia sons de tambores, batendo noite após noite. Ele também batia violentamente nos móveis e quebrava o estrado da cama em pedaços. Ele só parou quando um sacerdote visitou a casa.

No início de 1800 os Caixões Rastejantes de Barbados chamaram a atenção da imprensa. A atividade ocorreu na tumba da família Chase durante um período de oito anos. Os caixões se rearranjavam e eram arremessados contra as paredes.

O Enfield Poltergeist é o caso mais espetacular desta natureza. Com mais de um ano de duração em 1970, dois pesquisadores documentaram mais de 1500 incidentes. Eles variavam de materialização de objetos, incêndios e até possessão, a maioria centralizada em Janet, uma menina de 12 anos de idade.
